Privacy Policy

What we collect

We collect information you provide directly — account details, name and email, content you post, and messages you send us through support or the contact form. We also collect information generated by using our apps: device and app diagnostics, crash logs, approximate or precise location where a feature requires it, and usage data such as which features you open and how often.

We do not require you to provide more than a feature needs. Optional fields are marked as optional in-product.

Location data

Several of our apps — including travel and trip-tracking features — use location to function: to log a trip, plot a route, or show you relevant content nearby. Location is requested through your device's standard permission prompt, and you can grant it "while using the app," on a one-time basis, or deny it entirely, depending on what your platform offers.

Where location is used for a social or shared feature (for example, showing a trip on a map to people you've chosen to share it with), we tell you at the point that feature is used, and sharing is opt-in. You can revoke location access at any time in your device settings; some features will stop working if you do.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to operate and improve our apps: to provide the core functionality you signed up for, to personalize content and recommendations, to detect and fix bugs, to keep accounts secure, and to respond when you contact us. Aggregated or de-identified data may be used to understand how our apps are used overall.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal data. We don't share your precise location or private trip data with advertisers. We don't use your private messages or journal-style content to build advertising profiles. If this ever changes for a specific product, we'll disclose it clearly before it happens, not bury it in an update.

Third-party services

We rely on a small set of infrastructure providers to run our apps — for example, cloud hosting, crash reporting, analytics, and map or imagery providers (such as NASA Moon Trek data for LunaGlobe). These providers process data only as needed to provide their service to us, under their own privacy terms, and we choose vendors that don't resell user data.

Data retention and deletion

We keep account and content data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain it for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us — see the contact section below.

Your rights and controls

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — including the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. We honor these rights for all users, not only where legally required.

Children's privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we've collected information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our apps evolve. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in-app or by email before the change takes effect. Continued use of our apps after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
